Children need to be introduced slowly to the Dental office in order to make their visits comfortable and effective. Dr. Freyer likes to see children for their first visit at about 12-18 months, then yearly until we can get X-rays (Usually age 5). The first visit is a simple exam and conversation about nutrition and hygiene. Over time, we incorporate polishing, scaling, and X-rays as your child grows. We monitor for healthy growth of the jaws, and examine the teeth and gums to ensure your little ones remain healthy. We believe in the efficacy of sealants and fluoride treatments to help prevent cavities.
